Solset AI × Zoho Inventory
If your solar business already runs stock in Zoho Inventory, you should not have to key the same panels, inverters and cabling into a second system. Connect the two and items, stock levels, warehouses and composite kits stay matched — in both directions.
What the integration does
Items sync both ways
Products created in Solset AI appear in Zoho Inventory and vice versa, matched on SKU. Edit a price or description in either system and the other follows.
Stock levels stay matched
Goods received against a purchase order in Solset AI, or a stock adjustment made in Zoho, reconcile on both sides — so procurement and accounting never argue about what is on the shelf.
Multi-warehouse aware
Your Zoho warehouses map to Solset AI warehouses, so stock stays attributed to the right location instead of collapsing into a single pool.
Conflicts are surfaced, not silently overwritten
If the same item changes on both sides between syncs, the conflict is recorded and shown for a human to resolve — a sync that quietly picks a winner is how inventory data gets destroyed.
Every Zoho data centre supported
Zoho accounts are region-scoped (.in, .com, .eu, .au, .jp, .ca, .sa, .uk). The connection routes to whichever data centre your Zoho org actually lives in — India is the default.
OAuth, with tokens kept server-side
You connect through Zoho's own OAuth consent screen. The refresh token is stored in a server-only location that client code cannot read, and you can disconnect at any time from Solset AI settings.
How to connect it
- 1
Create a Solset AI account (the free plan is enough to set this up) and open Settings → Integrations → Zoho.
- 2
Choose your Zoho data centre — India (.in) by default — and click Connect. You are sent to Zoho's own consent screen.
- 3
Approve the Zoho Inventory permission. You are returned to Solset AI with the connection active.
- 4
Run the first sync. Items, warehouses and stock are matched on SKU; anything ambiguous is listed for you to confirm rather than merged automatically.
What data moves, and when
Solset AI reads and writes items, stock quantities, warehouses and composite items in your Zoho Inventory organisation, and only after you authorise it through Zoho OAuth. Nothing is transferred before you connect, and disconnecting from Settings → Integrations revokes the stored token and stops all syncing. Solset AI does not read Zoho modules outside Inventory.
Zoho Books: not yet supported. The current integration covers Zoho Inventory only. Invoicing and payments stay in Solset AI's own finance module, which is GST-compliant with HSN/SAC codes and CGST/SGST/IGST handling.
Keep Zoho. Add the solar-specific half.
Zoho Inventory handles stock well. It does not know what a site survey, a DISCOM net-metering application, or a project BOM is. Solset AI adds those — and keeps your stock in step with the system you already use.
