Know Your Quote
Got a solar quotation and no idea whether it is fair? Upload it. We score it out of 100, price-check every material against live marketplace rates, and show you exactly where the price can come down — before you sign anything.
No quote yet? Build your own — get the full material list for the size you want, free.
No account. No cost. Your quote is not shared with installers.
What a solar quote hides, and what this shows you
Most rooftop quotations are one page and one number. The materials, the warranty terms and half the scope live in the installer's head. That is fine until something goes wrong.
One score, out of 100
Six things get checked — price, itemisation, equipment, warranty, scope and commercial terms — and roll up into a single number you can act on.
Every material priced against the market
Each line in your quote is matched to live listings in the Solset marketplace and compared on the same unit, so you can see which items carry the fat.
Told exactly where to push
You get the rupee gap per line, ranked, plus a message you can send your installer as it is. No vague "shop around" advice.
The gaps nobody points out
Missing earthing, an unnamed module brand, no workmanship warranty, a subsidy promised without DCR modules — the omissions that cost you later, not at signing.
The 100 points
Every check is either a real price comparison or a fact about your document. Nothing is a market opinion, and anything your quote does not state is reported as unscored rather than guessed.
Three steps, about a minute
1. Upload the quote
The PDF your installer sent, or a photo of a printed one. One quote is enough.
2. We read it line by line
Materials, quantities, units, brands, warranty terms, scope and payment terms — only what the document actually says.
3. You get the report
A score, a price check, the red flags, and the questions to put to your installer before you sign.
Check your quote
Upload the quotation PDF your installer sent — or a clear photo of it.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Verify your email so we know a person is asking, and the report is yours. There is no account to create and nothing to pay.
Where do the benchmark prices come from?
From live listings in the Solset marketplace — real prices real suppliers are selling at. We never compare against a made-up "market rate". If our catalogue carries nothing for an item in your quote, we say the line could not be checked rather than guessing.
Does a low score mean my installer is cheating me?
No. Most of the score is about what the quote writes down. A good installer often sends a thin quote. A low score means you should ask for more detail before signing — that is all it means.
Will you send my quote to installers?
No. The document you upload is used to produce your report and is not shared with any installer. We keep the summary figures so we can improve the tool.
What if I have more than one quote?
Run each through this check to see whether each one is fair, then use the comparison tool to rank them against each other. They answer different questions.
Can this replace an engineer?
No. It reviews a document — it has not seen your roof, your load or your DISCOM rules. Treat it as a checklist for the conversation, not as an engineering opinion.
Are you the one sending the quotes?
Solset AI is the CRM, design studio and quotation engine solar EPCs run their business on — so the quote you send is the one that scores well here.
