The AI in Solset AI does the slow parts of a design: finding the roof, reading the bill, checking a finished layout. It always suggests and you decide; nothing is laid or changed until you click. Each AI action shows its cost in credits before you run it.
AI actions use credits from your plan's monthly allowance; packs can be bought when it runs out.

Read the customer's electricity bill
Photograph or upload the bill and the AI reads consumption, tariff and the service address, then suggests a system size. On a phone it is the first step of "bill photo to proposal".

How the AI is kept honest
- Click to runNo AI action runs on its own: suggestions, refinements and reviews start with a button.
- Cost before you clickEvery AI button shows its cost in credits and what you have left.
- Fallback without AIWith AI off or out of credits, roof suggestions fall back to Google's roof faces and say why.
- Choose the modelAdmins can set the AI model per feature in Settings; a premium model uses more credits per use.
- Credits, not surprisesOne allowance of credits a month on your plan, and packs to top up, bought in place.
- The guide is not AIThe next-step guide and its checks are plain rules, so they cost nothing and behave the same every time.
Good to know
- The AI estimates roof pitch from a photo taken from above. Confirm pitch and heights on site.
- A review is advice to check, not an approval. Designs still go through your own approval if you use one.
- The bill reader can misread a poor photo. The numbers it reads are shown for you to correct.
