Strings, cables and protection, drawn on the plan.
Strings are sized against the inverter and drawn in colour on the roof. Inverters and boxes are placed on the plan, cables follow the trays you draw, and protection and cable sizes are proposed for you to confirm. The bill of materials and the single-line diagram read the same design.

Proposals are proposals: only what you confirm prints on the SLD and the bill of materials.

Size and draw the strings
String length is chosen against the inverter's voltage and current windows, then each string is drawn in its own colour with its inverter and MPPT. Hand-wire strings per input if you prefer.
- A hand-wired plan that no longer covers every panel is flagged and ignored
- Compare inverters against this array and swap one in, with the impact shown first

Good to know
- Cable capacity tables are reference values; local codes (NEC and others) still need your engineer's check.
- Tray supports and civil work for trenches are not drawn by the electrical step.
